What is the state of being in Alpha brain waves?

When you’re awake but feeling quiet and contemplative, relaxed mental state, not asleep, relaxed but aware. Alpha brain waves measure between 8 and 12 Hz. 

How do we get there?

By performing Mental Yoga - exercises for the mind and awareness.

How does it work?

The brain learns to be more relaxed, aware and builds neural connections to support a less stressed way of being which is conducive to better performance, better success and more happiness.

How long do the results last?

Like any exercises - physical yoga, gym, cricket, piano exercises and so on, the body requires maintenance and self-care. Mind even more so requires maintenance and self-care every day, just like we take a shower to keep the body clean, we use Mental Yoga as a daily shower of self-care to allow the stresses of life to pass through and not lodge themselves and cause poor performance, self-esteem and sickness. The only person we are with 24x7 is oneself. Learning to take care of one's mental needs is of paramount focus in the digital age. The digital age highlighted even further our need to do inner work and take care of oneself properly. 

What Is In The Program?

A number of exercises taking one into Alpha brain waves states. The exercises train the brain and the mind to be more open and aware, and to utilise parasympathetic nervous system functions of "rest and digest" regulation of our bodies, and taking us out of "fight and flight" mode of sympathetic nervous system. The key to better performance and wellbeing is to decrease to the absolute minimum of necessity the harm of the excess "fight and flight" response of the body and mind, thus allowing the body to regulate itself in the "rest and digest" state.
